For the creative duo behind new London-based label Oscar Deen, the past is the best place to look for inspiration. Sharing an old-school sensibility, they frequently trawl vintage markets and antique stores around Europe in search of unique yet timeless sunglasses that have stood the test of time.

Back at their studio, they work their finds into hand-finished, contemporary designs using Italian-made acetate. The resulting collection is imbued with nostalgia, but contemporary detailing keeps the frames fresh. According to the designers, it’s the mix between “old style and new thinking” that makes their sunglasses special.
